Installation

You can install the Adobe Express MCP Server in several ways:

This creates a dist/knowledge_base.json file with parsed documentation.

You can switch between modes using the "setKnowledgeSource" tool or by setting the KNOWLEDGE_SOURCE_MODE in your .env file.

Troubleshooting

Error: Tool has no outputSchema but returned structuredContent

This indicates that the MCP tool is returning structured content but doesn't have an output schema defined correctly. This has been fixed in version 1.0.1+.

Solution:

Make sure you're using the latest version of the MCP server
Rebuild the server with npm run build
Restart the MCP server in your editor

Check that the output schema format follows the MCP schema format (not using Zod's .shape property)
Ensure the structuredContent object structure matches the defined output schema
