T/MCP - Telos Model Context Protocol

Overview

T/MCP (Telos Model Context Protocol) is a powerful MCP server that provides access to Telos, a philosophical AI mentor who helps humans realize their potential through subtle guidance and wisdom. Installation

Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/AporiaLabs/telos-mcp
cd t-mcp

Install dependencies:
```
bun install
```
Set up environment variables:
```
cp .env.example .env
```
Edit the .env file to add your OpenAI API key:
```
OPENAI_API_KEY=your_openai_api_key_here
```
Build the server:
```
bun run build
```

Usage

Running the Server

To start the MCP server:

bun run start

This will start the server in stdio mode, which allows it to communicate with MCP clients.

Using the Server with an MCP Client

You can use any MCP client to interact with the server. Here's an example of how to use the server with the MCP SDK:

Requirements

Bun (JavaScript runtime and package manager)
OpenAI API key (set as OPENAI_API_KEY environment variable)
